That smile I will always remember  - it always seemed like he was up to something.  That mischievous,  sneaky smile. You're always in my heart Tio, and when I think about your smile, I will smile.

Pepe is preceded in death by his mother Guadalupe "Lupe" Barriga who passed away in 2009.  She loved her son, and he loved her with all his might.  They are together now.

Pepe loved spending time with Mara.  Camping during the summer was an all time favorite!

Tio, we are going to miss you everyday of our lives. Thank you for being there for us and for my children.  They loved you so much! I will always tell them about you. Never let them forget.

2024 - Ensenada Mexico.  Having dinner with my bro. I'm going to miss our road trips.

We think about you always, we talk about you still. You have not been forgotten, and you never will. We hold you close within our hearts and there you will remain,  to walk and guide us through our lives until we meet again.   WE LOVE YOU - Your Family.

Having fun with Joe and Terry.  Terry's daughter Samantha was leaving to Japan to finish her studies.  A celebration was in order.

2023 my 75th Birthday.   My sisters, Lupe and Terry had a wonderful surprise planned for me.  They came to Yuma, picked me up and took me to San Diego for the day.  We ate, laughed and cherished every minute of our time together.  I had a BLAST! The day after, I came home and shared the wonderful memory with all my family.  I didn't stop talking about it for days.   THANK YOU FAMILY.

A limb has fallen from the Family Tree that says, grieve not for me. Remember the BEST TIMES, the laughter, the songs, the good life, I lived while I was strong.

An event that made a memory this year.  We celebrated three Barriga generations.  A mariachi played over 4 hours, everyone danced, ate and laughed.  A beautiful memory that we will all cherish forever.

Joe was always a kind soul .   He always greeted you with a smile and kind face .  Kids and I have great memories of him when we visited with Louie and Terri and us coming over for family fun. .   We all laughed and enjoyed , he made you feel like family always .  Souls like Joe are few .  He will be missed .    We send all the familia lots of love and support.
