Harley was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Alma; great-grandson Thomas Wyatt Lemmon; and half-sister Nora who is survived by Darlys.
Harley attended Bard Grammar School before attending Yuma High School. During high school he joined the Boy Scouts and received his Eagle Scout. After high school Harley attended the University of Colorado in Boulder. After one year he returned to the Bard area to become a farmer.
Harley enjoyed socializing at the Elks and Country Clubs and was a founding member of the Bard Rod and Gun Club. Harley served on the YUCO Gin and CALCOT boards.
Harley is survived by his wife Ann, of 34 years, her children Patsy and Johnny, two grandchildren, and four great-grand children. He is also survived by his first wife Evelyn and their four children: Patricia (Michael), Carolyn, Joyce (Phillip), and Bruce, sixteen grandchildren, and twenty-three great-grand children with two on the way.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. April 22nd at Johnson Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow immediately at Desert Lawn. Craig Colvin will be officiating.
Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Hospice of Yuma or charity of choice in Harley's name.
Harley's family would like to express their appreciation to Doctors: Peter Cheung, Divesh Anireddy, Jeanne Elnadry, Wissam Fayad, Maher Awar. Also, the Yuma Cancer Center, YRMC facilities, and Home Health Care's Lae and Stephanie for their kind and professional care of Harley after he was discharged from the hospital.
Equally sensitive to Harley's last needs and care was Hospice of Yuma: Amy, Kevin, and Angie.
