Frances DeGrande Derma, born Oct. 8, 1937, at FT. Yuma, passed away April 22, 2025, in Yuma, AZ. She loved going to the casino and having lunch with her sister Linda Cachora, and talk for hours. She will be missed deeply.
She is a member of the Quechan Tribe.
She is survived by her daughter Gloria Derma, sons Ernie (Anntte) Derma, Joe (DeAnna) Derma, sisters Linda (Lorey) Cachora and Mary Bland, and brother Billie (Elena) DeGrande.
She is proceeded in death by her father and mother Frank DeGrande and Sarah Leroy DeGrande, sons Micheal and James Derma, daughter Debra Derma, brothers, Tony, Walter, Carlos, Johnny, Barney, Pete and Sam DeGrande, sisters Virgina Chavez Amilia Ortiz, Bertha Summers, Rosie Bustamante and Georgia Estueinan. She had 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Ronnie, Greg, Anglo Derma, Stevie DeGrande, Charles DeGrande, and Jesus Gonzales.
Honorable Pallbearers are Lorey Cachora, Noah Cachora, Bobby Estueinan, Frankle Fregozo, Louie Thorssal, Jack Bouts, Charles White and Jason White.

A visitation will be held at Johnson Mortuary & Desert Lawn Memorial Park, located at 1415 South 1st Ave, Yuma, AZ, 85364, on May 1, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
A religious ceremony will take place at Saint Thomas Yuma Indian Mission, 350 Picacho Rd, Winterhaven, CA, 92283, on May 2, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
The graveside service will follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, 1415 S 1st Ave, Yuma, AZ, 85364, on May 2, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
