Dale Clinton Thomas

Dale Clinton Thomas, at age 52, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2011. He was born on May 28, 1959 in Pinehurst, North Carolina.

Dale was an animal lover, and had found his calling while working and training blue/gold Macaws and other large parrots. He enjoyed gardening and bargain shopping.

Dale is survived by his wife, Jodi Thomas of Yuma, Az; daughter, April Mendez of North Carolina; son, Christopher Thomas of North Carolina; step sons, Jason and Kyle Thomas both of Yuma; step daughter, Stephanie Evangelista; and nine grandchildren, Mariah, Breanna, Jayden, Brandon, MacKenzie Mendez, Caleb, Sara Thomas, Vincent Evangelista and Audrey.

Dale was preceded in death by his mother Elva Thomas; father, Earl Thomas and sister, Barbara Thomas.

Memorial services will be held at Johnson Mortuary on Friday, September 2, 2011 at 3:30.m. Dale will be laid to rest in North Carolina

Funeral services for Dale Clinton Thomas, 52, will be 2 p.m. Friday at Johnson Mortuary Chapel.

Born May 28, 1959, in Carthage, N.C., he died Aug. 24, 2011, in San Luis, Ariz. He was a correctional officer.
