Constance M. Englund, 99, and widow of the late Robert T. Englund, a retired produce grower and shipper of lettuce in California and Arizona, died March 20 in Yuma. She was born in Floydada, Texas and had lived in Salinas, California, Scottsdale and Yuma, Arizona. She had been a resident of Yuma for 18 years.
She had served as a volunteer in many organizations in Scottsdale during her residence there, including the Scottsdale Memorial Health Foundation, the Scottsdale Girls Club and was a founding member of the Desert Foundation and Auxiliary. She was a staunch supporter of the Hospice of Yuma for many years.
Survivors include her daughters, Pamela Cole of Yuma, and Theodora Crewson of Norman, Oklahoma, and her son Paul Englund of Norman, Oklahoma, 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Services will be private.
