Belinda was born on December 31, 1950, to Jack Hanners and Mary Aline Pipes and was the eldest of their three shared children.
She was a strong-willed wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who was the epitome of a woman who could do it all. A welcoming spirit, she loved to host and may have even invented the modern-day charcuterie board. Aside from being a homemaker, she was a successful nurse for nearly 30 years, holding positions throughout Yuma County, most notably at Yuma Regional Medical Center, where she retired. She enjoyed anything that had a motor and four wheels and often could be found watching drag racing.
She is survived by her son Ronnie (Brittani) Rojas; her sister-in-law Patricia Bingham (Patsy); her granddaughters, Savanah and Sarah Rojas; step- granddaughter, Meadow Harrison; sisters, Donna Westbrook and Alyson Hehe; brother, Donald Hanners; and her four-legged friends: Blue, Rin, and Pippa.
Belinda is preceded in death by her parents, Jack Hanners and Mary Aline Pipes; her four-legged friends: Sunny, Madison, Peekaboo, and Abigail; and, most importantly, her husband and Iron Man, Ronald Andrew Rojas.
A private family service will be held. We invite you to donate to the Humane Society of Yuma in Belinda’s honor, in place of sending flowers.
The family would like to thank Belinda’s caregivers Joy and Arabia Pharmes, and hospice for the wonderful care and love they gave her.
