Socorro was born May 25th, 1932 in Puente Grande, Jalisco, Mexico. She was a Eucharistic Minister of the Immaculate Conception Church, a member of the Legend of Mary and a De Colores member.
Socorro loved to work in her garden at home and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a devoted Catholic and enjoyed visiting the sick and elderly to administer communion.
Survivors include daughters Carmen (Mark) Calzada and Isabel (Richard) Shadle of Yuma; brother Benjamin (Emilia) Ramirez; Sister-in-law Rosemarie (Edward) Kubeka-Romero of Santa Barbara; Grandsons Richard H. Shadle, Robert G. (Quinn) Shadle; Granddaughters Monique Shadle, Angelica Calzada and Marisa (Joshua) Gauthier; six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, George A. DeLintt, Jr.; Father Catarino Ramirez, Mother Isabel Partida-Ramirez; six siblings and one niece.
Services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission on Friday, September 2nd, 2016 at 12 PM. Entombment will be in the Desert Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Pallbearers include Mark Calzada, Richard Shadle, Monique Shadle, Richard H. Shadle, Edward Mederos, and David Mederos. Honorary Pallbearers include Peter Soto, Oscar Soto, Robert Shadle, and Eliseo Mederos.
Memorial contributions suggested to Hospice of Yuma. Arrangements entrusted to Johnson Mortuary.
