Pedro Nunez Cervantes

Pedro Nunez Cervantes (Pete), age 90, died unexpectedly on March 12th, 2023 at his home doing what he loved, working on his yard. He was born on June 1st, 1932 in Vista Hermosa, Michoacán Mexico, the son of Pedro Cervantes and Esperanza Nunez. Pete stopped going to school at the age of 15 to support his family. Over his life time, he had many jobs and worked hard for what he had. Pete married twice, Irene and Irma, both who have passed before him. Pete retired from the San Bernardino County at the age of 55 to enjoy the spoils of his hard work. Pete enjoyed travelling, golfing, working on his yard and visiting with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Pete is survived by his six children Peter, Norma, Erma, Patricia, Robert, Martha and three step children Joe, Karen and Glenn. In addition, to 18 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. Pete was the patriarch of his family, leading them with wisdom, kindness and love. The seeds he planted will live on through his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. His legacy is one of understanding, forgiveness and love. He will be greatly missed by his family. A celebration of Pete’s life will be held at Weaver-Hughes Mortuary on April 14th, 2023 at 10:00 AM.
