Ethel was a baker for 16 years and was also employed with Avon Corp and in the Electro Technology industry as an engraver. Ethel was a member of Bryant Street Baptist Church, Yucaipa, California.
Ethel was a child of the great depression. She lived through nine decades of history, everything from Model A Fords to men walking on the moon. Her earthly life is now concluded. She is at rest and in total peace in the presence of the Lord.
Ethel is survived by her brother, Thomas Truman Griffith of Oklahoma and her step-daughter, Cathy Arnold of California. She is also survived by a very special family and friends, Andy & Tanya Cahill and their sons, Riley and Caden of Beaumont, California; nieces, Regina B and Susan A of Oklahoma; nephews, Tim A of Texas and Dan A of Oklahoma and cousins Paula S, Hollie A, Jay L, Lloyd Mc and Paul C, all of California. Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Landon and Parthenia Elizabeth Griffith, her husband, William Arthur Capen and sisters, Ruby Inez Cooper and Lois Ella Alexander.
Private interment Hillside Memorial Park, Redlands, California.
Arrangements were entrusted to Weaver Hughes Mortuary, Yucaipa, California.
