Patrick Brown Royer

Surprise, AZ - Patrick Royer, age 92, of Surprise, Arizona passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family and friends. He is survived by his three children, Michael P. Royer (and Debby) of Daytona Beach, FL, Phillip C. Royer (and Pamela) of Laveen, AZ, Stephen M. Royer of Surprise, AZ and by seven grandchildren; uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. He is also survived by a dear friend, Dorothy Powell Eastman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllisann Royer, who he was married to for 61 years. Pat was a member of Grace Bible Church in Sun City, Arizona.

Our Dad retired from JCPenney after 38 years of service and delivered flowers for Lemon’s Florist in Richmond, Indiana.

He was a 1949 graduate of Richmond Senior High School in Richmond, Indiana. He was a sharpshooter in the United States Marine Corp at Parris Island, SC. Dad enjoyed assisting in election voting processes as a polling volunteer in Indiana.

We fondly remember our parents in Richmond, Indiana as Dad sincerely sold shoes and Mom was a loving hair dresser for those professional styles both living and/or deceased. Our parents can also be remembered as a joyful and loving couple who were an enthusiastic pair as they delivered flowers throughout Wayne County.

A memorial service will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 North Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85024. Date and time are still pending at this time.
