Alan left behind his mother Sherrie Werner, brother Derrell Stanfield, his 2 sons Nicholas Stanfield and Michael Stanfield and his girlfriend Jennifer Ellel and her daughter Stella Stutzman Ellel.
Alan was born in California. We moved to Scottsdale in 1994. He attended Saguaro and Desert Mountain High School. He attended Universal Technical Institute in Phoenix and received his vocational certification in Automobile/Automotive Mechanics Technology/Technician
He was employed at Contractors Steel in Surprise as a Class 7 Forklift Operator/Material Handler.
Alan was adventurous and quite the daredevil. He loved the outdoors. He loved snowboarding, dirt bikes, motorcycles, boating, the beach and being up in the mountains. He had a zest for life. He was a fighter that never gave up. Life was not always easy, but Alan faced every challenge with a smile. He had an infectious smile and laughter that could light up a room. He was a very easy going person.
Alan had a beautiful heart and saw the good in everything and everyone. He had a tight circle of friends for over 30 years but could make friends with anyone and was always very respectful to others.
Alan loved his family and friends. His sons Nick and Michael were everything to him. He knew it was the material things in life that didn’t matter it was the people in his life that were the most important. Alan loved hard with his heart. When he loved someone he gave his whole heart!
Alan was a simple man, but boy did he love nice clothes and shoes. He loved to dress nice and smell great.
Alan was very gifted with his hands. There wasn’t anything that he couldn’t fix…he would always figure it out. He was good at home repairs, working on cars, building things, taking things apart, he could do it all.
Alan's Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 23 at 11:00 am at Radiant Church 15522 Paradise Lane, Surprise, AZ 85374. Pastor Joe Napodano will officiate the service.
