Norma Jean "Jeanie" Rife, 85, died at 6:46 a.m. Thursday, February 15, 2018 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Earl W. Rife, Jr., and the late Lester L. Leppo.

Born September 22, 1932 in Springettsbury Township, a daughter of the late Lester and Annamary (Emig) Billet, she was retired from the New Cumberland Army Depot, and was a member of Saint Paul United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Rife is survived by six daughters, Brenda L. Gay of York, Beverly A. Shank of Manchester, Sherian L. Fisher of Knox, Pamela S. Witmer of Etters, Teresa M. Kraft, and her husband, Douglas, of Etters, and Michelle J. Shenberger, and her husband, Daniel, of Dover; a son, Timothy A. Leppo, and his wife, Darlene, of York; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Dee Marlow of Dover, Shirley Toomey of York, and Joyce Arbogast of Dover. She was also preceded in death by a son, Bryan K. Leppo; and two brothers, Elwood Billet and Lester Billet, Jr.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Saint Paul United Methodist Church, 4360 Board Road, Manchester, with her Pastor, The Rev. Eddie Miller, officiating. Viewing will be 9-10 a.m. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 South Main Street, Manchester is in charge of arrangements.
