Raymond Denver Easley, age 82, of Yorba Linda, California, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 10, 2024. Born in Drakes Creek, Arkansas, Denver lived a life marked by devotion, love, and service.
Denver was preceded in death by his son Greg, his parents Dave and Irma Easley, and his sisters Glenda Faye Dobson and Linda Kay Hicks.
Denver was married to the love of his life, Paulette, for 61 beautiful years. Together, they built a family filled with love and warmth. Denver is survived by his beloved wife Paulette, his brother Doyle Easley, and his cherished children Julie Leone (Brian) and Michelle Dudding (James). He was a proud grandfather to Nathan Stannard, Cameron Brannon, Kyle Schimmer, Ryan Schimmer, and Jenna Leone. He is also survived by his son-in-law’s Omar Ramos, Brian Leone, and James Dudding. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and all who knew him.
Denver was remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He served his community as a Captain Paramedic with the City of Fullerton, where he earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues. Outside of his career, Denver was known as the greatest fisherman in the world, a title he held proudly.
Denver's life was a testament to love, commitment, and the joy of simple pleasures. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
A memorial service will be held to honor Denver’s life on August 31, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Church of Christ, located at 311 North State College Blvd., Anaheim, CA 92806.
