Gordon was born in Peoria, Illinois on December 3, 1941. He moved to California in 1966 after receiving an Honorable Discharge from the United States Army. Gordon retired from Rockwell International as Department Manager of Photomask Operations in 1999. Most people knew Gordon for his photography. He always, I mean always, had his camera with him. In addition to his career, Gordon had a lifelong service to numerous Christian organizations such as Canyon Hills Friends Church, The Gideons, Lockman Foundation and other community groups.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles W. and Florence A. Miller, sisters Carolyn Pence and Charlene Cofield, and his wife of nearly 30 years Rita. He is survived by his brother Rodney (Donna), his sons Derek (Dianne), Aaron, Kevin, Eric, his fiancé Barbara, his grandchildren Megan, Madison, Taylor, Crystal, Shamus, Darby and great granddaughter Melaena.
He will be deeply missed every day. May his memory live on in all who knew him. Until we see each other again.
