David was born in Los Angeles, California, on January 14, 1953, to Robert and Marjorie Hunt, the third of three sons. He grew up in Hacienda Heights, California, and upon marriage, moved to Orange County, where he and his wife, Roberta, raised their three children.
David held both a Master's and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from California State University, Fullerton. He spent over 40 years of his career working for Willdan Engineering in Anaheim.
David was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Roberta, three children, Ryan, Lauren, and Kellian, their spouses, Tiffany, Aaron, and Kelly, and his grandchild, Marcella.
A memorial service celebrating David's life and faith will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 25, 2024, at Rose Drive Friends Church, 4221 Rose Dr, Yorba Linda, CA 92886.
In remembrance of David, the family kindly requests that any charitable donations be made to the Rose Drive Friends Church scholarship fund to enable children to attend church camps and participate in church sponsored activities.
