Robert J. DiDonato

Born on December 10, 1932 to Anthony and Mary DiDonato in Yonkers NY, where he was raised and graduated from Commerce High School. Mr. DiDonato worked as a machine operator for Otis Elevator Company and had a second career as a custodian for Yonkers Public Schools. Robert served in the United States Army and was a proud member of the Armando Rauso AMVETS Post 40. Robert is predeceased by his beloved wife, Agnes (nee Objay), and his two sisters, Viola DeMarco and Joan Genaro. Robert is survived by two daughters, Susan (John) Marsillo of North Babylon and Toni Ann (Gregory) Kunze of Patterson, NY; four grandchildren, Stephanie, Kathleen, Amanda and Breanna, his great grandson Dean, his sister-in-law, Mary Milano and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Monday 4-8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Christ the King Church on Tuesday October 19th at 10am. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
