Michael N. Sayegh

Michael N. Sayegh living in Edgemont, died on Saturday March 5, 2011 at age 23. He was born on March 20, 1987 to Dr. Nayel and Sana (Fakhoury) Sayegh in Yonkers where he attended local schools, graduating from Edgemont HS and earned his B.S. from Pace University. Michael was a medical student at St. Matthew’s University in Grand Cayman at the time of his death. He was a parishioner of Virgin Mary Orthodox Church; his uncles proudly say he was a role model for his generation. Besides his parents Dr. Nayel and Sana Sayegh he is survived by his paternal grandmother Jalilah Sayegh, 2 brothers; Matthew and Mark and 3 sisters Najwa (Dr. Ricky) Sayegh, Bridget and Danielle and his loving niece Gabrielle who he adored so much and many prominent Doctors and Lawyers of the Sayegh Family, along with many cousins. Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church on Wednesday March 9th at 10am. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
