Helen B. Woodworth

Helen was born to John and Mary Ann Maissen on August 29, 1921 in Yakima. She married her childhood sweetheart, Jess Woodworth, on August 13, 1941. They were married for 59 years and had 2 children, Jess and Linda.

She and her husband were avid fishermen and loved spending time outdoors, hiking, fishing and camping.

Helen is survived by their son and daughter-in-law, Jess & Carole Woodworth, 3 grandchildren, Scott & his wife Meshelle Woodworth, Kim & her husband Rich Wells and Christina Sinclair & her husband Chris Buchholz, 5 great-grandchildren, Ryan, Kyle, Morgan, Blake and Jackson, her siblings Frannie, Monica and Charlie, and close family member, who was like a sister, Margaret Cunningham-House.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Linda, granddaughter Sandy, her husband Jess, and her siblings Joe, Louie, Kay, Jake & Mary Ann (Sis).

The family would like to thank all of the Memorial Hospice staff, the staff at Cottage in the Meadow and at Highgate Senior Living for the fantastic care given to her and making her last few weeks as comfortable as possible.
