George McDuffie passed away as a result of Parkinson’s disease early Sunday morning. He had been well cared for at RiverWest Assisted Living for five years. Born in North Carolina, George had a 26-year career in the Air Force. Retired and settled in Wenatchee, WA, where he worked for various trucking companies and A&A Motorcoach, as well as becoming a CDL instructor and a small aircraft pilot.
He is survived by two sons: Richard and David of Las Vegas, NV; two grandsons; his wife, Amparo McDuffie of Las Vegas, NV; and his life partner of 33 years, Barbara Siddiqui of Wenatchee, WA.
George loved rock hounding in local canyons, and was a very fine chef at home. As a well-loved father, step-father and grandfather, he will be very much missed.
Interment will be at Medical Lake Veteran’s Cemetery.
A committal service for George will be held Friday, August 5, 2022 from 2:30 PM to 2:45 PM at Medical Lake Veterans cemetery, 21702 W Espanola Rd., Medical Lake, WA 99022.
