On Tuesday November 20, 2012 our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother Frank Sutton died at the age of 74. He fought a long and courageous battle with a rare blood disease. Frank was born in Malta, MT to Shirly and Grayce Sutton. They soon moved to Kalispell MT where he was raised. He moved to Yakima in 1971 and has lived in Selah WA for the past 36 years. He married Debbie McCoy in 1974 and they had just celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary in August.
He was the Matco Tools Distributor from 1980 until his retirement in 2003. Frank had many hobbies during his life. He was not known to be a spectator but a participant in everything. His passion for the last 20 yrs was golf and you could find him there with his golf buddies every chance he had. If he could have golfed in the snow he would have with enthusiasm.
He is survived by his wife Debbie, daughter Jennifer Galland and fiance Chad Caldwell. His Grandson Bryce Galland, who he loved dearly all of Selah Wa. Three daughters from a previous marriage who are so very dear to me and will always be my family, Tracey Evans (Ivor) of Blaine Wa, Sandy Audet and partner Robert of Eagle ID, Shirley Brady (John) of Boise ID and 7 Grandchildren Billy Suttard, Jamie Denning (Nate), Mindi Reed, Cody Audet, Alli Brady, Jessi Brady and Kassidy Brady. He was the great grandfather of 3. His sister Sharon Horn and husband Harold of Tennessee who have been such a blessing and help to me. His father-in-law and mother-in-law Mac and Lu McCoy of Yakima. His step mother Donna Sutton of Kalispell, ex-wife Billie Jo Kohlman of Las Vegas, sisters-in-law Terry Ball (Dick), Dru McCoy, Kit McCoy, Kathy Chenez and Dawn Voigt (Gregor) and numerous nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to Dr. Boyd of North Star Lodge and all the staff. He had a special place in his heart for all of you. You gave him the extra years that we didn’t think were possible. The wonderful Memorial Hospice team of Kate, Deb and Luis who made his last days so peaceful for him. Frank will be missed by all who knew him.
A private gathering of family was held on Saturday Nov. 24, 2012 to say our last goodbyes. As per his wishes there will be no formal services held.
