Carol Ann Ross

Carol Ann Ross passed away on April 14, 2024 with her family and friends by her side. She was born on February 19, 1941 in Yakima to Clarence and Alta Marie (Durbin) Smith. she graduated from Davis High School with the class of 1959. Carol attended Yakima Business College. She spent 23 years with Mayfair Markets and then 10 years as the manager of Grocery Outlet. She changed careers and went to work for the Yakima School District 7. Carol loved to travel, she visited, Alaska, Hawaii, Greece, Turkey Egypt and Canada. She enjoyed; camping fishing, snowmobiling, Bowling, car shows, movies, working at the Central Washington Fair and going to Legends Casino. She had the privilege to meet many performers, Phyllis Diller, Randy Travis, Clint Black, Gretchen Wilson and Wayne Newton. Carol is survived by her son Gary Ross, cousins; Joan, Mike, Michelle Heater, Joy Evans, Kurt and Lee Eakin, close family friend Jeanette Morales, her special neighbors Mary and Fred Bergren, her fury friends Dakota and Star. Carol will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. At Carol’s request there will be no services. She will be inurned in the family plot at Terrace Heights Memorial Park.
