Thomas Keefe

Thomas Michael Keefe, age 89, an avid Notre Dame fan “GO IRISH!”, passed away peacefully at Kobacher House on August 17th. He was proceeded in death by parents Robert and Nora Keefe, sister Mary Elizabeth Jacobson, brothers, Robert Keefe and Timothy Keefe, brother-in-law Robert Jacobson, niece Catherine Larson and nephew Bobby Keefe.

Tom was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and a proud graduate of Aquinas High School. He was a retired butcher working for small neighborhood grocery stores and was recognized by patrons no matter where he was. As a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians he enjoyed marching in the St. Patricks Day parade every year. He loved all sports and was his grandchildren’s biggest fan! His smile, quick wit, and cheers will be greatly missed by all.

Tom was a loving husband, father, and grandfather to his wife of 55 years, Kathryn, children Michele Brown ( Randall), Patrick Keefe (Stephanie), Meagan Earl (Jeff), Michelle Thomas (Mike Moore), Jodelle Cunningham (Tom), grandchildren Heidi Cox (Brent ), Holly Madden (Daniel ), Joey Richardson (Tara ), Delaney Earl, Camryn Earl, Brooke Thomas, Bree Twynham, Brock Thomas (Mindy), Kevin Cunningham (Karlee), Dustin Cunningham (Sierra) and 17 great grandchildren. He is also survived by special nieces Jodell Ryan, Noreen Murphy, Gayle Hoffman and Paula Garman.

A visitation for Thomas will be held Thursday, August 24, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Schoedinger Funeral & Cremation Service, 6699 North High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085. A funeral mass will occur Friday, August 25, 2023 at 10:30 AM at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 313 North State Street, Westerville, OH 43082.
