Ronald Albert Ramey

Ronald “Ron” Ramey, 55, of Columbus, passed away on June 20, 2022. He was born on July 26, 1966, in Columbus Ohio, to Thurman and Barbara (Nolen) Ramey. Ron was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara.

Ron graduated from Worthington High School and attended Circleville Bible College. He spent the majority of his working career working for CFS as a financial staffer. In his free time, Ron loved to watch sports. Whether it was the Cincinnati Bengals, the Ohio State Buckeyes, or Chelsea FC. In addition to professional and collegiate sports, Ron loved the High School level. He would often watch Thomas Worthington Basketball and his granddaughters out on the soccer fields.

He also loved photography and music. He took classes in High School and won numerous awards in Columbus. You can often find him photographing his family. As far as music, he loved Blues and 80’s, especially 80’s Hair Bands. Ron is known to be a funny, kind, and caring man. Every person he met in life soon became his friend.

In addition to his father, Ron is survived by his wife, Becky Hallowell; children, Justin (Melanie) Hallowell, Ron (Jess) Ramey II, Sarah (Chris) Settles, Jessica (Ben) Stine, Rick (Carrie) Groves; grandchildren, Caelynn, Callie, Ada, Hayleigh, Cain, and Vivian; siblings, Deb Hartley, Rob Ramey, and Rachel Mackie; and numerous extended family and close family friends.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2022 from 1PM until 4PM and Monday from 10AM until 11AM, at the Schoedinger Worthington Funeral Home, 6699 North High St., Worthington OH, 43085. A Funeral Service will follow at 11AM.
