She was the daughter of Frank and Pauline Shaw, and the beloved wife of Don R. Young for 67 years. Pat was preceded in death by her husband Don, and daughter Teresa L. Courter. She graduated from The Ohio State University School of Nursing in 1955, and was an active member of the Grace Brethren Church of Powell. Pat and Don loved to travel, and also enjoyed many years with their RVs, and boating on Lake Cumberland with family and friends.
Pat is survived by her sons Tim (Cindy) Young, Todd (Mavis) Young, and son-in-law Bryon (Susan) Courter; grandchildren Cara (Aaron), Lindsey (Rand), Meghan, Donnie (Mallory), Kristin (Jeremy), Alyssa (Ray), and Tim; and 15 great-grandchildren.
May Pat rest in eternal peace, her memory forever cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
Family and friends are welcome to celebrate her life at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 30th, at Schoedinger Worthington, 6699 N. High St., Worthington, OH.
