

Joya Lee Neff, 86, formerly of Westerville Ohio and more recently of Sunbury Ohio, peacefully entered her eternal home to be with her Savior Jesus Christ, on June 12, 2022, in Sunbury. She was a member of Faith Covenant Church. She is survived by sons Robert "Rick" Neff, Jr., Tom (Julie) Neff, daughter, Nancy (Dean) Zaiser; grandchildren Shane (Gina) Neff, Jonathon Neff, and Ruth (Kyle) Sloan; beloved cousin Ted (Donna) Cross, brother-in-law, Wayne (Kay) Neff and sister-in-law Candy (Mike) Shy. Joy is predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Robert “Bob” Neff, her parents, John Disbennett and Jane (McGee). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Joya was a dedicated nurse.
She was an American community health nurse, administrator, named Woman of Year, Buckeye chapter - American Businesswomen’s Association, 1981. Member American Nurses Association, American Public Health Association, Ohio Nurses Association, Ohio Public Health Association, Association State and Terrace Directors Nursing (past president), Sigma Theta Tau. Joy served in many Masonic organizations including the Social Order of the Beauceant, and International Order of Job's Daughters.
In lieu of flowers, the family is suggesting a donation in Joy's name to the organization of your choice. We would enjoy seeing all the different places receiving a gift in her name.
