Frank was born October 23rd, 1940 to Ellis and Lucille (Towne) Rynearson in Richland Center, Indiana, the 4th of 5 children. Growing up on the Rynearson farm and helping out a nearby dairy farmer, Frank’s unmatched work ethic began at a very young age. After high school, he spent time in the Navy before marrying his life-long sweetheart, Nancy, and soon thereafter they moved from Ft Wayne to Columbus. Over their 60 years together, they had 4 daughters and many grand and great-grandchildren. Many special family memories were made as Frank taught his love of fishing to his kids and grandkids. Frank retired in 1993 after 31 years at Sears Department Store but continued to work in sales until he fully retired a number of years later. Frank was a faithful member of Northland Church of Christ. In early years he served in the bus ministry and in 1982 he made a mission trip to Poland where he drove a truck delivering food to the people there. Frank had a heart for making sure others had enough to eat and loved donating to the church’s food pantry. Frank will be greatly missed by his wife, Nancy; children April (Bob) Wright, Alice (Mike) Green, Jill Segel, and Karen (Mack) Nowlin; brothers Paul (Nancy) Rynearson and Larry (Carol) Rynearson; extended family and close friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters Margaret Ann Rynearson and Betty Steininger.
