Walter Louis Siebecker, 83, of Woodstock, GA passed away peacefully February 5, 2015. He was born on February 27, 1931 in Bethlehem, PA to the late Walter and Adelaide Siebecker. A graduate of Lehigh University, Walter also holds an MBA from N.Y.U Graduate School of Business. He served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed a successful, 50 plus year career in the elevator business, which included 30 years with Westinghouse Elevators, and over 13 years for Lerch, Bates, before establishing his own elevator consulting firm in 1996. A former pilot, he loved planes, trains, and old cars, and was an avid reader, pet lover and traveler. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Linda Siebecker, daughters, Anne Siebecker, July Siebecker (Michael Grosso) and Allison Siebecker (David White), grandchildren, Canyon and Toren Grosso-Siebecker and sister, Jean Comly. Walter is also survived by his step children, Sally Driskell, Bill Miller and Amy Williams, 6 step-grandchildren and 1 step-great-grandson and beloved dog, Snowy. Walter’s vitality, curiosity, positive spirit, and love of life and family will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at 4:00pm in the chapel of Woodstock Funeral Home.
