Mr. Vincent “Vinny” Everton Smith went to be with the Lord on April 26, 2022. He was born to the late Mr. Everton Smith and the late Mrs. Esmeralda Simms Smith in Kingston, Jamaica on November 22, 1930.
A husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Vinny was widely known to be the life of the party. His carefree attitude combined with his love of music and dance made him a joy to be around.
Vinny had a love of the outdoors and enjoyed gardening and working with his hands. He was a true businessman and a hard worker. He was a real estate investor, landlord, carpenter, interior designer and printer proof reader. Vinny was a man of many talents.
In 1967, while attending a Jamaican Association Party, Vinny met his future bride, Fay “Pat” Baugh. After a whirlwind romance, the two were married and their family continued to grow. The couple relocated from Canada to New York, to Georgia and then to Orlando where Vinny was baptized. They were international travelers moving to England and all over the states. They ultimately settled in Acworth and attended Kennesaw First Baptist Church.
Vinny is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Everton Smith; and his younger brothers, Edmund “Bunny” Smith and Delroy “Dolly” Smith.
