Stephanie Joy Edmonds

Stephanie Joy Edmonds, 47, Passed away February 28, 2021 at her family home in Woodstock, following a lengthy illness. She was born August 17, 1973 in Chicago, the daughter of Ed Edmonds and Emily (Newman) Edmonds.

Stephanie spent her growing up years in Louisiana and California, and her family moved to Georgia during her freshman year of high school. She graduated from Lassiter High School and Georgia State University. Following school she relocated to New York , and later Los Angeles, where she pursued a career in television production. Stephanie’s successful career began with research and writing, and she worked her way to supervising producer. Her many longtime friends, as well as her production friends, have continued to love and encourage her during her illness. Stephanie’s friends and family describe her as a kind, sweet human being with a beautiful soul. She treated her friends like family, and loved unconditionally. Stephanie was a bright shining light, and lived up to her middle name, Joy.

Stephanie was predeceased by her father. She is survived by her mother, her sister Rachel Edmonds, brother Paul Edmonds, sister-in-law Chipo Edmonds, nieces Dani Zhanje-Edmonds, and Gabby Edmonds, as well as many beloved friends and family.
