Nita Parrott

Mrs. Elnita Parrott, 79, of Woodstock, GA passed away February 5, 2015. She was born on October 9, 1935 in Loris, SC to the late Oscar and Reba McDowell. After her graduation from Loris High School, Nita married and started her family. She retired from Winn-Dixie after 28 years. She was an active member of South Cherokee Baptist Church and often visited nursing homes with her friends. She was a friend to everyone and loved by all who knew her. Nita was preceded in death by her husband, Winston L. Parrott. She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Moseley and her significant other Douglas Davis, sons, Michael Parrott and his wife, Lecia and Danny Parrott and his wife, Linda, grandchildren, Melissa Wolf, Jason Moseley, Valerie Parrott and Nathan Parrott and great-grandchildren, Caden Wolf, Noelle Moseley and Lauren Moseley. A funeral service will be Monday, February 9, 2015 at 11:00am at Woodstock Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Rolling Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 8, 2015 from 2-5pm at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Woodstock Funeral Home, 8855 Main St, Woodstock, GA 30188.
