Michael Daniel Walton

Michael was born to parents Gregory Walton and Darlene Newmark in Rochester, NY on November 1, 1985. He grew up in Roswell, GA after moving with his parents and brother Matthew to the Atlanta area in 1991.

Mikey, as he was called by those who knew him best, was a loyal friend, a talented basketball player, a quick witted jokester and an absolute charmer.

He had the most infectious laugh and a wonderful sense of humor. He made the people he loved feel at home with him. Without a doubt, his favorite thing to do was to spend time with his friends and family. Mike could uniquely light up a room with a well-timed joke or a game of flip-it.

He endured a lot of challenges, but he always made room to support others along the way, too. Mike was a gift to the many people who loved him, and he will be dearly missed.

Michael is survived by his mother and stepfather Paul and Darlene Newmark, his father Gregory Walton, his brother Matthew Walton, step brothers Joshua and Samuel Newmark, and step sister Avery Kincaid.

A celebration of Mike’s life is scheduled from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. on November 12, 2023 at Coastal Bar & Grill, 10930 Crabapple Rd., Roswell, GA 30075.
