Mrs. Grace Elizabeth Hicks, 66, of Woodstock, Ga. passed away August 01, 2016. Grace was born on May 23, 1950 in Marietta, Georgia to the late Johnson and Jeanette Payne. She grew up in Marietta and throughout most of Grace’s life, she worked in nursing. At the age of 17, Grace married the love of her life, Ralph, and they have spent a lifetime of love and joy together. Grace was a kind hearted and selfless woman who valued family above all else. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, camping, playing games with her grandchildren and just being with her family doing whatever. She will be deeply missed by those who know her. Grace leaves behind her husband, Ralph J. Hicks Jr., son Tim Hicks and his wife Charlene and their three children Justin, Michael, and Ashley, son Shawn Hicks and his wife Sam and their two children Rachael and Zoe. Grace also precedes in death her brother Thomas O. Payne and two uncles Jerry and Les Kinzy.
