Dave was a devout Catholic. His faith was the foundation of his character, guiding him through the challenges and triumphs of his life. He found solace and strength in his beliefs and the community that surrounded him in his faith brought him great peace during his final days.
Dave took pride in his strong work ethic and built his career with determination and integrity. He was a true leader, respected by his colleagues. His dedication and hard work provided a stable and loving home for his family, and his success was a testament to his unwavering commitment and perseverance.
One of Dave’s most memorable qualities was his laugh. He laughed with every part of his body, it was loud, heartfelt, and lit up the room. It emphasized the stories Dave loved to tell, reminding those around him there is joy in every moment. Everyone who knew him can remember his laugh as they read this.
Of all his qualities, the greatest was Dave’s devotion to his family. After his father passed, he became the family patriarch, partnering with his five brothers and sisters to ensure their parents’ legacy lived on through the almost 90 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His 55 year marriage to his wife Judy brought two sons and one daughter into this world. Dave took great interest in his children’s and grandchildren’s lives and they knew that his wisdom and love were never more than a phone call away.
Those who loved him are filled with gratitude for the time we shared and the lessons he taught us. Though he may no longer be with us, his legacy will live on in our hearts and memories.
Dave is survived by the love of his life, Judy Coulter, their children Chris (Shanna) Coulter, Jason (Julie) Coulter, and Julie (Kirk) Morris; his grandchildren, Emma Coulter, Julianna Coulter, Melanie Coulter, Jackson Coulter, Andrew Coulter, Abby Coulter, Zachary Coulter, Cole Morris, and Webb Morris; his siblings Steve (Patty) Coulter, Kitty (Terry) Roberts, Anne (Jeff) Shafer, Tom (Mindy) Coulter, and Mary (Mark) Voges; the brothers and sisters-in-law he loved like his own and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be held at St Peter Chanel Catholic Church, 11330 Woodstock Road, Roswell, GA on Thursday, June 13th at 2pm. A reception will follow at St Peter Chanel Catholic Church.
