Franklin P. Gardner

Frank was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, on September 17, 1946, to his parents Lucille and Earl Gardner. He was blessed to have two brothers Edward and Ray Gardner.

Frank was a graduate of the University of Georgia and was a devoted follower of the Georgia dawgs. His adult life’s work was as an independent insurance agent.

His greatest interests were his faith in God and his love for his family. As a devoted father to his children, he spent many years coaching his sons in football, baseball, and basketball. He was proud to cheer them as well as their older sister in her many endeavors. He will be greatly missed by all.

Frank was predeceased by his parents and his brother Ray. He is survived by his wife Barbara, his children Christine (John) Hill, David (Robin) Gardner, Michael (Kyla) Gardner, his stepson Don Grogan, twelve grandchildren, one-great grandchild, his brother Edward, niece Laura, and nephew Eddie.

A Memorial service will be held in his honor on Tuesday, October 8th, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Woodstock Funeral Home, 8855 Main Street, Woodstock, GA 30188.
