Faith Elma Rodgers (Birt), age 66, of Alpharetta and Cumming, GA, born August 4, 1958, passed away September 3, 2024. Faith was born in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada. She spoke fondly of her childhood on PEI, reminiscing about playing with neighborhood friends, especially Heather Carr (MacLean), at the Experimental Farm and Lily Pond. Faith's family moved to Alpharetta, GA when she was 11 years old. She graduated from Milton High School, where she proudly played saxophone in the MHS band. Soon after, Faith married her sweetheart Tony Rodgers at the Alpharetta Church of God, officiated by Reverend Brother Waters. The couple was married 40 years before separating but remained close. Faith and Tony had two daughters, Natasha and Tiffany. Faith taught her girls to think independently, live life joyfully, embrace spontaneity, pray and celebrate the Lord, and to be the best of sisters to each other. Faith worked and advanced her career for decades as a Project and Data Manager for IBM and AT&T, culminating in Disaster Recovery Management. Faith appreciated much of life’s beauty: music and dancing, gardens and nature trails, mountains and beaches, thunderstorms and falling snow. She loved simple joys, like listening to the rain, swimming and being near water, seasonal festivities and decorating for the holidays. Faith was full of life and experienced it passionately. She loved her church communities and friends. Faith will be dearly missed by her daughters, Tiffany Rodgers (Ben Hilderbrand) and Natasha Rodgers (Kevin Gangi); her sister, Glenda Birt Brown (Chip); her brother Kevin Birt (Phyllis); and her husband, Tony Rodgers. Faith will join in heaven many beloved family members: her mother and father, Reta (McInnis) and Richard Birt, and younger brother Stewart Birt, Tony’s mother, Marie (Scott) Rodgers, and grandmother Luna Scott. Many of her most cherished memories were of being Aunt Faith to her numerous nieces, nephews and their children. She had a deep love for her great-nieces and nephews and was incredibly gifted at spending quality time with them.
