Cynthia "Cindy" Ann (Poretti) Wright

Woodstock, Georgia…Cynthia Wright, 67, of Woodstock, died on Friday, February 10, 2023, following a brief illness. Cindy was born in St. Louis, Missouri on September 18, 1955; she was the daughter of the late Albert V. Sr and Nancy R. Poretti . Cindy served our country in the United States Air Force. She was retired as a bus driver for the Cherokee County School System. An avid crafter, she was a very creative person. She also enjoyed growing flowers. Her family and friends will remember Cindy as a strong beautiful woman and a great mom with a loving heart. She always put everybody first. She enjoyed and loved all the kids that she looked after during their youth. She enjoyed all the kids that were on her bus route as well.

Cindy is survived by her husband of over forty-one years, Rick Wright; her children, Josh Wright and Levi Wright; her siblings, Albert V Poretti Jr (Vic) and his wife, Patty, Barbara L. Flint and her husband, Tim, and David J. Poretti and his wife Tammy; her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The committal service, with United States Air Force Honors, will be at Georgia National Cemetery on Thursday, March 9th at 10:00 a.m. Rickey invites their friends and family to join at his home for a time of fellowship on Thursday, March 9 beginning at 1:00 p.m.
