Ms. Christine A. Bainbridge, 66, of Roswell, GA passed away July 20, 2014. She was born on June 26, 1948 in Flushing, NY. As a child she was inquisitive and mature for her age. She was a high academic achiever. After graduating as valedictorian of Bridgewater Raritan High School West, Christine attended Wheaten College where she earned her bachelor's degree. She received her master's in English Literature from Brown University. Christine enjoyed a career as a High School English Teacher, teaching at Westwood High School, River Side High School and most recently Milton High School. She loved to read and to write poetry. Charles Dickens was her favorite author. Christine was very brilliant and intellectual. She was kind, caring and a talented teacher. She would constantly challenge her brother who was a physician with insightful and perplexing medical and physiology questions. She often reviewed the medical literature and was quite conversant in medical terminology. She was a true patriot and loved this country. She always intensely supported the US military. She married the only love of her life, Gordon Bainbridge, but they later divorced. They always remained best friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Anthony Koroscil. Christine leaves behind her son and daughter-in-law, Gordon and Cary Bainbridge, grandchildren, Mitchell and Collier Bainbridge, brother, Thomas Koroscil (Janine) and sisters, Pat Bartz and Toni Tetreault (Bill). A prayer service will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 4:00pm in the chapel of Woodstock Funeral Home.
