Thomas Vincent Mandia

Thomas was known as “Tommy” to his friends and family.

He was loving husband to Georgina, loving father to Genine (pronounced Jeannine) and Thomas, and loving grandfather to Haley. He loved and cherished any time spent with family, as well as his Sunday dinners at Charlie’s in Woodside with his dear friends from Big Six Towers, especially his long time friend Mel, who was like a brother to Tommy.

He followed sports with a passion, especially the Mets and the Rangers, and he was most proud of his service in the US Air Force during the Korean War.

Georgina and Tommy were married for 63 years and were inseparable to the very end.

A mass of christian burial will occur Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 10:45 AM to 11:45 AM at St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, 58-02 Roosevelt Ave, New York, NY 11377. A committal service will occur Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM at Calvary Cemetery, 49-02 Laurel Hill Blvd, New York, NY 11377.
