Lorraine Patricia Cusick was born 4/6/1938 in the middle of a blizzard that covered New York City to John and Alice Cusick. Lorraine never knew a stranger, and enjoyed the love of her family and friends. Good hearted shenanigans always ensued when Lorraine was around. The typical Irish lass, her warm smile and twinkling eyes were always a welcomed sight! Lorraine always made everyone she met feel special, loved and welcomed.
Always a "city" girl, Lorraine enjoyed the weekend getaways to her sister Dorothy's home and her cousin Eileen's home, both in Commack, Long Island, the cabana at Breezy Point, the house upstate and so much traveling with her friends!
Lorraine's career began at Asiatic, then to Celanese where she spent most of her career. She also worked at 2 private investigators offices and retired from Dudley & Co.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her sister Dorothy, her parents Alice and John Cusick, and cousin Eileen Ganteaume. Lorraine is survived by her nephew Andrew Patterson and his wife Pamela, niece Karen Nilsen and her husband, Mark and their children, niece Gail Patterson and her husband Chris Raridon and their children. Lorraine is also survived by her nieces from her cousin Eileen, Lorraine Ganteaume and her husband, Luis Pina and their children, Patricia and her husband Gerard Caggiano, and their children, and Kathleen and her husband Derek Brophy and their children. Lorraine also had Great nieces and nephews and Great Grand nieces and nephews. Lorraine loved each and everyone of us with all her Irish heart and soul. It was impossible to hide our excitement when we knew Aunt Lorraine would be visiting soon
