Joseph J. Balsamo of Astoria, New York entered into eternal rest on June 15, 2014. Joseph was born on December 16, 1936 in Astoria, New York to Vincent Balsamo and Carmella Maria DiCico. Joseph will be greatly missed by his wife Anna and a host of family and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday June 19, 2014 from 2-5:00pm and 7-9:00pm. A funeral mass will take place on Friday June 20, 2014 10:15am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church. Entombment to follow at Saint Michael's Cemetery located in East Elmhurst, New York.
