Mr. George Francis Phelan entered into eternal rest on April 19, 2018 at Field Home - Holy Comforter, Yorktown, New York, he was 89. George was born on May 24, 1928 in the Bronx, New York to George Phelan and Agatha McGrory. George served in the US Navy from 1946 to 1948 and he was a Lieutenant with the New York City Fire Department, Engine Company 41, Bronx, New York. Beloved husband of the late Mary Ann Phelan. Loving brother of the late Anna Ruland, the late Thomas Phelan, the late Agatha Crossman. Cherished uncle of Theresa Tychostup and her husband Robert, Anne Eckhardt, Barbara Murphy and her husband Richard, the late Catherine Tompkins and Daria Seminara. Grand Uncle of Richard Murphy, Nicholas Tychostup, Christopher Tychostup, Brian Murphy and Anthony Seminara. Great Grand Uncle of Braden, TJ, Zoey, Briella, Riley and Dylan. May he rest in peace.
