Phelan, Dorothy Franks, on November 28, 2014. Born September 21, 1926. Dorothy died peacefully in Columbus, Ohio. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis Phelan and the devoted mother of the late Francis Phelan, 3rd. She is survived by her sisters, Sister Margaret Franks, S.C., Sister Joan Franks, O.P. and brothers, Henry (Jacqueline) and Francis ( Judy). Dorothy was born in New York City and lived in Woodside, N.Y. After retiring from Equitable Life Assurance, Co., she moved to Winter Park, Fl. where she was a member of Saint Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Family will receive friends at the Kennedy-Roth Funeral Home, 41-45 58th Street Woodside, NY on Thursday Dec 4, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial Friday Dec .5 at 10:30 AM at St. Senastian Church. Interment to follow at Calvarty Cemetery.
