Frankie L. Peck, born on April 11th, 1937 in Woodlake Hospital, passed away on Dec. 16 2022 at the age of 85. A lifetime resident of Woodlake, she was a cheerleader and graduate of Woodlake High School in 1955. She transitioned into a career as a teacher’s aide at F.J. White elementary school for 21 years, working in both mainstream classrooms and as a special education aide. Concurrently, she was also a telephone operator (PBX operator) for Kaweah Delta Hospital for 25 years, serving the community she loved.
Always kind, patient, and loving she kept her home open and a dinner seat ready for her loved ones. She enjoyed gardening - maintaining rose bushes, and delighted in planting and harvesting a variety of tomatoes. She also enjoyed reading, baking, and spending time with her family.
She married Max Willis in 1955, and had three children. Two sons - Kenny and Ronnie, and a daughter Christy. Frankie is preceded in death by her sons and is survived by her daughter-in-law Kathy (Ronnie), 5 grandchildren: Robert, Rudy, & Joey (Christy) and Samantha & Zack (Ronnie) and 6 great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.
There is no service scheduled. She will be interned in Woodlake Cemetery.
