Kristen Jeanine Gates

On Sunday December 11th, 2022, Kristen Jeanine Gates, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother passed away from complications related to terminal cancer at the age of 61. Kristen, a graduate of Woodbury High School, was known for her quick wit that could bring a smile and laugh to any room. She had an innate artistic ability that was expressed through her love of calligraphy, painting and drawing. She had a heart of gold that would lead her to help as many people as she could, no matter the situation. Her son, Jordan Gates and two grandchildren, Makayla and Stellan Gates, were the center of her world and she loved them dearly. She worked in the financial and hospitality industries most of her life, where she met lifelong friends.

She was predeceased by her father Merritt Gates and is survived by her son Jordan Gates; her grandchildren Makayla and Stellan Gates; beloved mother and stepfather, Beverly and Michael Feipel; brothers Mark (Shawn) Gates, Dennis (Melanie) Gates, sister Diana Ubel (Jay Noseworthy); step sisters Julie (Steven) Ellison, Jenny (Todd) Djonne, Karen (Dan) Fredrick; and multiple aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held January 27th, 2023 from 3pm to 6pm with a memorial service at 4pm led by Chorbishop sharbel Maroun at Wulff Funeral Home in Woodbury, MN.
