Born on February 4, 1945, in Zamboanga, Philippines, to Victorino and Ursula Alojado. Dom led a life marked by dedication, service, and love. After graduating from Ateneo De Zamboanga, Dom, along with his parents and siblings, immigrated to the United States in the 1970s. In Minnesota, he proudly served as a member of the United States Army and the United States National Guard, embodying the values of honor and commitment. He also had an extensive career with the US Postal Service, where he made lasting impacts through his hard work and integrity.
Upon retirement, Dom and his beloved wife, Charissa, cherished their time between Minnesota and Cebu, Philippines, nurturing deep connections and creating beautiful memories with family and friends. Dom’s greatest joys were his family, tennis (which he later turned into pickleball), and karaoke. He was surrounded by his wife, daughter, brothers, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, friends, and many more loved ones during his final moments.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Charissa H. Alojado; his son, Jason Alojado; their beloved daughter, Nikki Alojado Dunham; and thoughtful son-in-law, Blaine Dunham.
