The funeral service will be held in Peace Lutheran Church, Grenfell, SK., on Friday, February 6, 2015 at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor Gerald Bruce Andersen officiating.

Cremation with interment in the Neudorf Town Cemetery

Predeceased by son Stewart Goebel in 1987, grandson Riley Medwid, his parents Frank and Lydia Goebel, two brothers Raymund and Louis Goebel.

Sam is survived by his wife Donna, and their children, Bonnie (Dave) Sheriff, Calgary, AB., and their sons Tyler and Travis (Erica); Loren Goebel, Alexander, MB., and his daughters Linda (Jeff) Le Bourque and their son Brian, Tiffanee (Etienne) Goebel and their daughter Zoe; Rhonda (Keith) Goebel, Thompson, MB and their daughters Hayley, Morgan and Jadyn; Terry (Andrea) Goebel, Carlyle, SK., brother Lawrence (Norma) Goebel, Saskatoon, SK., and his numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
