Rachelle was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Nick Kaczmar; daughter Marie Lang; grandson Kevin Rissling; granddaughter-in-law Dana Kaczmar; her parents Lucien and Maximilliene Vertefeuille; father-in-law and mother-in-law John and Xenia Kaczmar and siblings: Annette (Gerard), Laure (Thomas), Rhea (Jules), Jerome, Lucienne, Leonard, Dolores and Raymond (Gerry).
Rachelle is survived by her children: John (Priscilla), Dolly (Brian) Rissling, son-in-law Glenn Lang, Linda (John) Knoll, Richard (Sandra), Ron (Celine), Duane (Lorie) and Bryan (Audrey); 26 grandchildren and 62 great-grandchildren (with one more on the way). She is also survived by her sibling Norman (Shirley) and brother-in-law Henry. She will also be remembered by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Rachelle’s doctors, palliative team and the staff at Regina Grace Hospice for the care they provided.
The funeral service took place in Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Montmartre, Saskatchewan on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 10:30 a.m., officiated by Rev. Fr. Warren Dungen. Interment in St. Peter and St. Paul Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery. The casket bearers were Alyssa Hanson, Trina Hjelsing, Chad Lang, Steven Knoll, Krista Strueby, Nicole Karakochuk, Jessica Blair and Ashley Maurer.

The family invited everyone for a time of fellowship where a meal was served after the services.
