Martin Joseph Bergeron

Martin was predeceased by his mother-in-law Valerie Sangwais; father-in-law Bruce Delorme and brother-in-law Denise Sr.

Martin leaves to mourn, but also be lovingly remembered by his loving wife Shannon Sangwais; his children Odin and Heavannalee Sangwais; father Pierri Brisson; father-in-law Adam Peepeetch; brother Johnathan Brisson; sisters-in-law: Anna (Cody), Lisa (Dougie), Tracy, Misty, Tamara and Lianda (Ivan); brothers-in-law: Allan (Noami), Mike (Julie), Adrian (Randa-Leigh), Cadmus (Kimberly), Tim (Cindy), Adam Jr (Denise), Lance and Ken; special uncle-in-law Randy (Denise) Sangwais; special aunty-in-law Carol (Brian) Sangwais; special nieces Jeada and Chanel; special nephews Mason and Myles; various other aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Martin had a very large family, too many to mention.

On behalf of the family, we would like to thank the staff of Broadview Union Hospital and Palliative Care Worker Kelly Philips for their kind compassionate care of Martin.

The wake was held in Zagime Anishinabek Community Complex, Zagime Anishinabek on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. There was a feast in the Zagime Anishinabek Community Complex on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. and funeral service followed at 1:00 p.m. with Elder Terry Flamont officiating.

May he rest in peace, surrounded by the eternal love of those he held closest to his heart.
