Margaret Anne Mills

On Wednesday, October 23, 2019 Margaret Anne Mills late of Broadview and formerly of Whitewood, Saskatchewan passed away at the age of 97 years. A family graveside service will be held at a later date in the Whitewood cemetery.

Margaret was predeceased by her husband Lawrence Watson Mills and three grandchildren.

She is survived by daughters: Helen (Reg) Mills, Virginia (Johnny) Smith and Darlene (Nelson) Rygh, three grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Margaret immigrated to Canada at the age of 3 and lived in Canada for the remainder of her life. She served in the Royal Canadian Air Force for 2 1/2 years and later became a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. After leaving the Air Force, Margaret married Lawrence Mills and together they raised three daughters.
