Debbie Ecklund

Debbie was born in Whitewood, Saskatchewan on January 25, 1959. She grew up on a farm southwest of Whitewood. She married Michael Ecklund on July 25, 1981. They raised their three children on a farm they started from a pasture just a quarter mile from where she grew up. Debbie lived out her final days at the same farm with her current spouse of 15 years Danny Thomas.

Debbie was predeceased by her mother Phyllis Topinka.

She is survived by her father Anthony Topinka; her loving spouse Danny Thomas; children: Jennalee (Mark) Beutler, Cole (Kirsten) Ecklund and Taylor (Jared) Adams. Step children: Jacob (Bronwyn) Thomas, Lucas (Amy) Thomas, Samantha (Nick) Thiessen, Corey Thomas and Riley Thomas. Grandchildren: Ryder, Jace and Nash Beutler, Frankie Ecklund, Cade Adams and step grandchildren Natalie and Elyse Thomas; brother Trevor (Heather) Topinka and sister Donna (Ken) Matsalla.
